Jane Small
Jacqueline,I wonder if this tree was chopped about and then re-sprouted.It does look that way. What an amazing capacity trees have to do this.I noticed some tall chestnut trees only yesterday that had been chopped in half.I don't know why it was necessary. As I looked up at them,I thought they felt "sad". I really did feel it.But looking at your beautiful and contorted tree here,it does look peaceful and happy, specially surrounded by your lovely turquoise greens.Odd, but,yes ,extremely loveable. What a perfect title too! L/F
Jacqueline McReynolds replied:
Thank you so kindly Jane for sharing your story...yes... I agree that trees absolutely do *feel*, beautiful poignant words....I think he is a happy guy...I look at him from my window at work and we talk :)
Nikki Dalton

Ross Odom
Very and very. It's as if some madman arborist who, every ten years or so, haphazardly grafted a new limb or two onto the old. And there it stands, loved still.
Jacqueline McReynolds replied:
Sounds so very poetic Ross~thank you!
